Results of the first race 2010
The birds were liberated at 8:00am this morning and
the first batch of 70+ pigeons arrived at 11:50am taking just under 4 hours for the journey of 231 kilometres. Unfortunately
due to a configuration error with the Clocking system we were not able to record the first 3 batches of birds. When the error
was noticed 10 minutes after the first arrivals it was impossible to select any winning pigeons. Due to this we will be allocating
the prize money for this race to the next race so that 10 prizes will be awarded and the prize money distributed amongst all
ten positions.
A physical count has been performed at 2pm and there are over 300 birds home so
far.
